By the way, people in the Montafon are on a first-name basis. Up in the mountains, we’re lofty enough—here, personal connections are what count. You can cultivate these relationships especially well over a glass of fine wine. Holy Bimbam! Look, there’s a tipsy mountain sheep staggering around. Yes, sometimes even those with their sheep-like noses look a little too deeply into their glasses.

Do you have a particularly discerning palate? Then ask her about her rarities, and she’ll open the doors to her treasure trove for you.

Amid the gleam of copper and soft lighting, Alpine cocktails, fine wines, or a simple shot of clear liquor—perfect for the moment—are served. Conversations revolve around hikes, trails, little tests of courage, and big plans for tomorrow. Who wants to climb where, who’d rather take it easy, and where the most beautiful viewpoint awaits—these things get decided here almost in passing.
We’re open from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. And if your thirst isn’t quite quenched yet, AMRAI will gladly bring your drinks up to your room.
