Situated between the Litzpromenade and Silvretta Montafon, the AMRAI combines family-friendly facilities with easy access to the mountains and slopes. Our free ski shuttle takes guests to the Hochjoch and Zamang cable cars; in summer, the hiking shuttle takes guests to the Bartholomäberg and Latschau car parks. The hotel features Family Suites with separate bedrooms, a children’s pool with no age restriction, and communal dining areas where families can enjoy their evening meals. Getting there and getting around at the family hotel: Montafon without the hassle of changing trains
Short distances make life easier for families more than any extra amenity. Schruns railway station is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel along the Litzpromenade; on request, our shuttle will collect arriving guests and their luggage from there. Those arriving by car can park free of charge in the underground car park or in the outdoor parking spaces; seven electric charging points are also available for family electric cars. The Silvretta Montafon valley station is about a ten-minute walk away; alternatively, the ski shuttle will take you there with your children and equipment. Prams, sledge and rucksacks can be left in the luggage room or at reception if the suite is not yet ready for you to move into. On the day of arrival, the Stöll Spa – open from 12 noon – and a snack from 1 pm will help pass the time until check-in at 3 pm. The summer timetables for the Wandershuttle are also available before booking. Even late evenings have been taken into account, as reception remains staffed until 11 pm, after which the side entrances to the left and right of the main entrance can be accessed using your room key – even with a sleeping child in your arms.

Daily routine for families: Montafon programme, spa and dinner
A family day at the AMRAI often follows the same three-part pattern. In the morning, guests head out into nature with the daily changing BergePLUS programme, which includes guided activities for adults, families and children and is free for guests. In the afternoon, the Stólla Spa takes over; its copper bath is open to all ages, whilst young people aged 14 and over may also use the sauna area there when accompanied by an adult. Parents taking turns can enjoy a quiet hour at the adults-only Maisäß Spa on the roof overlooking the Gipflsee. In the evening, families can dine in the Stoba or the Holz-Stoba; the evening meal as part of the three-quarter board package is served from 6.30 pm. Anyone who needs to set off earlier can order a packed lunch from reception the day before. The Aktiv & Montafon section shows which activities are available in which season, with hiking, cycling and winter activities around Schruns. Between activities, the suite remains a haven where you can enjoy an afternoon nap, a board game or a hot chocolate from the kitchenette, all without having to leave the house.
