Location of the hotel in Schruns: town centre, railway station and mountain railway within walking distance
For guests at the AMRAI, Schruns is a very accessible town. The Litzpromenade leads from the hotel to the railway station in just a few minutes; heading in the opposite direction, you reach the cafés and squares in the town centre. The Silvretta Montafon valley station is about a ten-minute walk away, so your days of skiing and hiking can begin without having to search for a parking space. If you’d rather not walk, you can use the free shuttle buses: in winter to the Hochjoch and Zamang cable cars, and in summer to the Bartholomäberg and Latschau hiking car parks. Meanwhile, your car can be parked free of charge in the underground car park, which includes seven electric charging points. If you’re travelling by train, the Montafonerbahn terminates directly in Schruns; on request, our shuttle will take you the last few metres with your luggage. After a day in the village or on the mountain, the evening shifts to the hotel. Three Stobas serve Montafon cuisine using ingredients from local producers in the valley, with the Grüne Stoba reserved for adults and families dining in the Stoba and Holz-Stoba. The KUPFR GRILL complements the offering as a standalone grill restaurant, open from 6 pm to 8.45 pm, closed on Thursdays. The bar opens at 4 pm and serves drinks until 11.30 pm; after closing time, we’ll bring drinks to your room on request. The three-quarter board package includes breakfast, an afternoon snack and dinner; à la carte diners can be seated at lunchtime between 1 pm and 4 pm. Anyone who has been out and about in the village can return to a place that perfectly captures the evening atmosphere. The Cuisine section provides an overview of the dining areas and menus, covering all three of the restaurant’s concepts. Breakfast is served from 7.15 am to 11 am, and guests from the village are also welcome to join you at the table for 34 euros per person, which makes arranging meet-ups in Schruns straightforward.
